Community Food Literacy Workshops and Activities

Everbloom offers seasonal workshops to promote food saving and decrease food waste. Topics include:

  • Nutrition information, including macronutrients and reading food labels
  • The relationship between diet and chronic diseases, plus dietary recommendations
  • Food preparation basics, like safe food-handling practices and basic cooking techniques
  • Food preservation techniques, like canning, freezing, and pickling

We also want to know what you do with your harvest! As part of our food-literacy efforts, we’re setting up a community recipe bank to promote healthy cooking. We need your help to fill it with nutritious and delicious meals.

Share how you use your homegrown vegetables and herbs by filling out our form below, or email them directly to info@everbloomfarmacy.org
