Next distribution event

We’ve given away nearly 3,200 seedlings this spring, and your last chance to pick up a spring garden is coming up! Join us Saturday, June 14, at the Sankofa African Diaspora Festival at the Cossitt Branch Library to pick up spring seedlings before we switch to summer herbs. We’ll be there from 11am until we run out of seedlings!

This festival celebrate the rich culture, lived experiences and creative expression of African descended communities. Join us for an afternoon of performance, dance, art, vendors, readings and much more in recognition of Black Music Month and Juneteenth commemoration.

  • Date and time: Saturday, June 14, starting at 11am
  • Location: Cossitt Branch Library, 33 S. Front St., Memphis, TN 38103
