Everbloom Farmacy grows thousands of seedlings on its 21-acre farm in Memphis. We share these seedlings with individuals, families, and community organizations starting their own urban gardens. Through the Community Learning Nursery, we teach our Grow Partners the practice of growing from seed and provide starter vegetables and herbs each season.
Everbloom also nourishes the well-being of our growers, sharing practices and activities at the intersection of health, community, and urban gardening. As an Everbloom grower, these resources help you:
Everbloom empowers Memphians to address the issues of food security and chronic disease by providing the knowledge, skills, and means for anyone to grow food at home. Through a low-cost, scalable, and replicable model, Everbloom’s alliance of growers is creating food sovereignty – access to healthy and culturally appropriate food produced through ecologically sound and sustainable methods.
Everbloom grows food, well-being, and community together.
Everbloom’s vision is to create a local food and wellness movement that establishes a new standard for achieving greater health equity, food security, and community connection through urban agriculture.
Learning to grow fruits and vegetables gives you ownership over your access to healthy food. You have the freshest produce at your fingertips, in your own backyard, any time you need it, plus a new skill set to take pride in
When you start your urban garden, you join Everbloom’s network of Grow Partners. You’re supported by the farm and its resources each season, and you enrich your community by sharing your new knowledge and harvest.
These committed volunteers serve the Community Learning Garden. They dedicate their time tending Everbloom’s nursery, aid in the distribution of seeds and plants to community members, and provide support and expertise to Grow Partners.
These individuals and families have started their own urban homesteads in Everbloom’s network. Grow Partners received seasonal starter herb and vegetable plants from Everbloom to grow at home. They are supported by the Grow Stewards and the Everbloom network.
Whether connecting with a Grow Steward at a community event or enjoying the harvest of a neighboring Grow Partner, our community benefits from the food and knowledge shared by the Everbloom network.
